Focusing on What Matters This Season
As a child, I liked getting presents. As an adult, I know it’s better to give than receive.
I recently announced that we are returning $100,000 in missing money to more than 80 food pantries across Illinois. These organizations serve so many people in need, and we wanted to do our part to support their work.
When I heard that thieves had twice stolen catalytic converters from the donation trucks of a Bolingbrook food pantry, I asked staff to see if we had any ICash funds that could help. I was proud to reunite 4 K.I.D.S. Sake with $5,500 that rightfully belonged to them.
Moments like these are what this season is all about.
